World Premiere of Dominic Walsh's 'Uzume'

Uzume, a newly choreographed work that is a riveting combination of ballet, contemporary dance, and Japanese taiko drumming, is inspired by Walsh's respect for and fascination with the people and culture of Japan.

Japanese guest artists Kensaku Satou and Hana Sakai join Dominic Walsh Dance Theater star Domenico Luciano to form a cohesive rhythmic unit that captures the traditions of Japan and creates a sensory feast of sound, vibration, and visually stunning images. $15-35.
