CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF HOUSTON

10am-6pm: The iconic Art Guys-created Telephone Man will now be surrounded by moving air ducts, fast-rolling balls and creative contraptions as the How Does It Work? exhibit is refueled with an exciting new look and interactive activities thanks to Flint Hills Resources.

9am-5pm: More Precious Than Gold features hands-on activities and special appearances in honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Guests can also help create paper carnations and felt roses to be delivered to children’s hospital rooms.

11am-5pm: Experience Intersections, the 2014 ArtPrize award-winning installation by Anila Quayyum Agha. Agha uses light and cast shadow to transform the gallery space into a place that alludes to Islamic sacred spaces dense with geometric ornamentation and pattern.

The Fresh Cafe at the Children’s Museum offers nutritious eats and treats for any time of day! With fresh salads, sandwiches and vegetarian options prepared daily.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science is home to the famous Golden Arches. Fast and easy, it’s a great option for families on the go.
The Houston Zoo offers a wide array of dining options throughout their grounds. You can grab a bite right inside the front gates at the Macaw Cafe, or relax by the Duck Lake at the Cypress Circle.
